- Presented a seminar paper “ Brihangam Distrit Charanchalor Lokobiswas” on 29th April 2007, in a National Seminar, organised by Indian Folklore Congress Association , West Bengal, India.
- Presented Seminar paper “ Peasants Movement of Goalpara after British Annexation: A new Historic Bloc”, on 30th Dec.2008, in Indian Council of Historical Research Sponsored National Seminar , organised by the college itself.
- Presented a seminar paper jointly with Dr. Akhtarul Islam on “ Woman: A Pawn in the Game of Chess” ( a study with ref. to Vijay Tendulkar’s play ‘ KAMALA’ in context of gross violation of Human Rights) on 25th March 2012, organised by the Ambedkar Study Centre of the College.

- Sunil Gangopadhya’s ‘ Hatat Nirar Janya’ ( Poetry book) translated into Assamese as “ Kebal Nirar Babe” and published weekly in ‘Axomiya Aami’ from 31st may 2011 to 10 Jan.2012.
- Aadah Darjan Bideshi Kabita (Barik Sirar Hatat) translated poems into Rajbongshi and published in Darshani, 30th June,2010.
- Pol Robson’s autobiography ‘ Here I Stand’ ( Dedicated to Barik sir) is being translated into Rajbongshi and is being published in “HAUS” from April, 2011.
- Translated the Folk Songs of Goalpara into English and published in www.kamatapur.com

Achievement/ Award/ Honour/: “ Bepin Chakrabarty Memorial Celebration Committee , 2007, is extremely happy and proud in honouring Sri Amitabh Ranjan Kanu, of Gauripur for his unique contribution in the domain of Literature ( Poem) on the solemn occasion of 13th death anniversary of the freedom fighter, journalist and leader of the oppressed class Bepin Chakrabarty of Dhubri.” Mr. Kanu is first amongst the younger generation who received this honour.
